Galáticos and Uruguay set for final in Quakertown

Galáticos and Uruguay are set to clash in the championship match of the Liga Hispana New Jersey–Pennsylvania's indoor season this Sunday, May 4 at 7 p.m. at Faith Christian Academy in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

Both teams earned their place in the final after winning intense semifinal matchups.

Galáticos punched their ticket with a 5-2 win over Perú. League president Johnny Mancheno called it “a classic match.” In the second semifinal, Uruguay defeated American United 4-2. Both games were held on April 27 at the same venue.

“The matches were incredible,” Mancheno said after the semifinals.

Galáticos finished first in the standings, with Uruguay in second place. Looking ahead to the final, Mancheno added, “It will be an incredible game.”

He also announced that the summer season will begin on May 18, with games held at fields in Alpha, Belvidere, Quakertown, and Phillipsburg.
